Front Desk: Also, provide support for the receptionist position of the Seminary: Responsible for the operation of the main switchboard: answering and directing calls, taking and relaying messages. Greet, screen, and direct all McCormick visitors. Receive packages, special deliveries and daily mail.
May be asked to assist in other areas of Administration and Finance.
Must be able to lift, carry up stairs and push up to 75 pounds.
The ability to work with limited supervision and effectively interact with a diverse group of people, including faculty, administrators, staff, students, guests and vendors.
Familiar with MS Office 2003 or 2007 is helpful.
Basic grammar and mathematical skills and aptitude for operating business equipment.
Superb customer service skills and excellent telephone etiquette.
8-16 hours per week needed. Prefer if person can work a full day of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., taking an hour for lunch.

Room Setup – 4:00-5:00 and 9:00-10:00
Arrange tables and chairs in various conference rooms according to specific requests.
Security – 5:00-9:00
The ability to work with limited supervision and effectively interact with a diverse group of people, including faculty, staff, students, guests and vendors.
Monitor school entrances and exits, lobbies, walkways, restrooms and parking lots; keeping campus activity and property under observation while maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
Ensure certain doors are locked according to directions given by the Director of Security.
Unlock doors in emergency situations; then make a note of the who, when, why and where, and submit to the Director of Security.
Maintain open communication and positive relationships with students, staff, faculty and the community, sharing information regarding school activities.
Enforce school rules, regulations and policies for the safety and security of students, staff, faculty and property.
Respond to calls regarding any disturbances, determine the proper course of action according to instructions given by the Director of Security, and assist if necessary in preparing incident reports.
Report unusual activities or unauthorized persons on campus to the appropriate personnel, beginning with the Director of Security. Call the University of Chicago Police if necessary.
Operate a two-way radio to communicate with other security personnel.
Administer first aid as necessary; prepare related reports.
Perform related duties as assigned.
General Hours: 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Some Fridays and Weekend hours may be available. Possibly up to 20 hours per week needed.

Covenant Presbyterian Church, located in Jackson, the capital city of Mississippi is a 200+ member church seeking a full-time Director of Family Ministries for their growing children’s and youth ministry.
CPC, (www.covenantpresjackson.org) is passionately committed to discipleship and growth and is searching for a Director of Family Ministries who will serve as director of the youth ministry team to implement the church’s vision for ministry to youth and families. The DFM will work with dedicated volunteers and pastoral staff to enhance the church’s very active youth ministry as well as develop intergenerational programming to empower families and the congregation to more faithfully provide for the Christian nurture of their young people. The DFM will also work with the children’s ministry staff to ensure that ministry to the whole family is running smoothly with a spirit of cooperation.
CPC’s Director of Family Ministries should be able to work effectively with youth, exhibiting creativity, understanding and patience. Applicants must have a growing personal commitment to Jesus Christ, the body of Christ and God’s work in the world. Position Summary:
The Associate Pastor for Youth and
College ministry is responsible for creating and directing ministries related
to high school youth and college-age young adults. The Associate Pastor is an integral part of
the life of the church, also serving through worship leadership, preaching,
pastoral care, and mission.
The Associate Pastor for Youth and College
Ministry is a new position. The
appointment is for a designated term of 3 years subject to review. A decision for the continuation of the
position will be determined by the Session in consultation with the Presbytery
of Scioto Valley at the end of the second year.
At that time, the congregation may vote to continue that pastor’s
services as an installed Associate Pastor on the recommendation of the Session
and the COM and with the concurrence of the pastor.
