What will McCormick look like in 2040? You tell us.

McCormick is currently reviewing and preparing to revise its curriculum in order to better equip its students to serve as faithful and faith-filled leaders
in the church and world.

On Monday, March 5th, from 4:45-5:45, in the Buchanan lounge, the McCormick Student Session will be hosting a conversation with Dr. Deborah Kapp and Dr. David Daniels, the faculty members chairing the curriculum review committee, to garner student feedback on how McCormick's curriculum can be improved.

This is your chance to have YOUR voice, questions, concerns, and ideas heard.

If you can't make this meeting, feel free to send the Student Session your ideas and suggestions, via email. If you can come, great! Here's a few questions to contemplate:

  • As you prepare yourself for ministry in your tradition, what elements in your academic experience at McCormick are helping you most?

  • If you are someone who is practicing ministry while you are going to school, what elements in your academic experience at McCormick are helping you to expand or deepen your expertise?

  • As a future religious leader, what is missing in McCormick’s curriculum? Or, for those currently practicing ministry, what is missing in McCormick’s curriculum?

  • What advice do you have for the faculty as it ponders curriculum revision?

Once again, all members of the McCormick student body are invited to come and share their suggestions for improving McCormick's curriculum.

We look forward to seeing you on Monday!

Peace,
McCormick Student Session
