Want to have dinner with the President?
No, not that President! We're talking about our very own president, the Rev. Dr. Frank Yamada!
Women in Ministry is proud to announce the addition of the "Dinner with the President" Raffle to Friday night's Vagina Monologues. Here's your chance to ask Frank the questions you've always wanted to ask and to be wined and dined by one of McCormick's foremost foodies and finest cooks.
McCormick Theological Seminary's own Frank Yamada has graciously agreed to participate in this year's Vagina Monologues, donating his time, and possibly cooking skills, to support the work being done to end violence against women. What a legend!
Raffle tickets will be sold at The Vagina Monologue Bake sale on Wednesday during Community meal and before the show on Friday night. Raffle tickets are $3 for one and $5 for two. The winner will be announced at the end of the performance, but you don't need to be present to win!
Remember The Vagina Monologues is this Friday, February 22nd, at 7pm, in the MTS Common Room. Tickets are $5 suggested donation at the door and 100% of the proceeds go to Sarah's Inn, a local, Chicago organization, and V-Day National's One Billion Rising Campaign, both organizations working to end violence against women and girls.
Come and support friends, faculty, and community members as they perform monologues written by women from around the world.
Until the violence stops . . .
Women in Ministry
